Giving Back: Pracedo Presenting at the First Give Awards 2015

We are excited and honoured to announce that Pracedo Founder, Matthew Schutz, will present the Charity of the Year Award this Autumn during the First Give Awards 2015 ceremony!

Pracedo began working with First Give earlier this year for a pro bono project to build and customise the organisation’s Salesforce org. Pracedo took the 1% Pledge this year, and now offers pro bono Salesforce consulting to non-profits as a commitment to give 1% of company product back to the social sector.

First Give is a London-based charity that develops and implements school programmes, which encourage youth to support local charities in their own communities. Over eight lessons, the Programme encourages an entire year group of students to identify social issues in their area and engage with local charities that address them. The students will then have the opportunity to compete for £1,500 of grant money. Teams will do this by advocating for their charity in a school competition.

We have truly enjoyed working with the passionate staff at First Give. It has been a gratifying experience to give back to the community by supporting this organisation in the background while they work on the font-lines.
